Customs: Russian aluminum exports rise 11.3% in January–August
MOSCOW, Oct 8 (PRIME) -- Russia’s aluminum exports increased 11.3% on the year to 2.116 million tonnes in January–August, the Federal Customs Service said on Tuesday.
In monetary terms, aluminum exports rose 8.3% to U.S. $3.586 billion in the period.
Copper exports remained flat at 441,400 tonnes worth $2.659 billion, an 8.2% decrease.
Nickel exports went down 5.8% to 85,100 tonnes with the cost contracting 13.5% to $1.066 billion.
